Perxona began inside XRSPACE, the Taipei company founded in June 2017 by Peter Chou, the former CEO of HTC. XRSPACE spent years building virtual worlds, and the avatars that lived in them. Along the way we noticed something: whatever else was on screen, the avatars were what people stayed for.
