Perxona 2025: A Year in Review
Perxona 2025: A Year in Review
From launch to global traction in four months (though we were laying the groundwork for quite a bit before that)
When we launched Perxona in late August 2025, we knew we were building something different. Not another chatbot, but an AI avatar platform that could genuinely connect with people—combining real-time interaction, emotional expression, and authentic personality.
What we didn't know? How fast things would move.
In just over four months, we went from launch to winning pitch competitions in Japan, from our first customer going live to showcasing across three countries. Here's what 2025 looked like.

August: The Launch
We officially launched Perxona, powered by Behavior AI. The differentiators were clear:
Smart, dynamic behavior beyond scripted responses
Most affordable and totally customizable AI avatar
Hyper-scalable for high-volume use
First Customer: Flat Medical
Our first client went live immediately. A global medical device company needed to scale their sales efforts and provide 24/7 multilingual support without expanding their team. Flat Medical proved our thesis: AI avatars could extend man power with human warmth, not replace it.
September-October: Learning What Matters
As we met with potential customers, a pattern emerged. The best conversations weren't about our technology—they were about their problems.
A hospitality company told us about their multilingual star employee drowning in repetitive questions. An education group explained how information simply doesn't flow between parents, students, teachers and administration. An e-commerce platform that wants to learn from customers and provide more personalized recommendations.
This shaped everything. We started listening and became more focused on what was actually broken:
Provide info that customers are looking for ASAP
Support queues overwhelming teams
Losing deals outside business hours
Can't scale expertise across languages
Complex products losing customers during onboarding
Doing all that without extra cost
If you couldn't articulate what was broken, technology wasn't the answer.
November: Creative Expression Meets AI
We launched AI BOUNCE RABBIT, our first creative IP collaboration with renowned Taiwanese artist BOUNCE.
Instead of a generic digital assistant, we created an avatar with real personality, distinctive voice, and authentic emotional expression. BOUNCE RABBIT's "be yourself" spirit could now actually talk, react, and engage in real time.
As our CEO Kurt Liu said: "AI's value isn't just automation—it's the ability to authentically express and convey a brand's identity."
This proved AI avatars could have character and create connections that static content simply can't.
November-December: Going Global

Taiwan: Smart Cities
At Tainan City's Industrial DX Achievement Expo, we demonstrated how AI avatars could transform public services—serving diverse multilingual populations, maintaining consistent service quality, and addressing labor shortages while keeping interactions warm and human.
Japan: Momentum Builds
Japan is an important market and we’re ready for it.
Leisure Japan (Tokyo) - Hundreds of demos with hospitality, retail and LBS (Location-based Service) companies solving real problems: labor shortages, multilingual services, scaling character experiences. Japanese companies didn't experiment for novelty—they solved structural challenges.
Startup JAPAN (Osaka) - Two intense days culminated in winning Dream Pitch. Kurt pitched Perxona to 12,000 attendees, and we took first place, earning a VIP invitation to 2026.
What resonated most:
Real-time multilingual capabilities
24/7 availability without expanding teams
Complete customization—appearance, personality, knowledge
Conversations that feel genuinely human
Most affordable AI avatar solution
Real use cases emerged: hotels upgrading in-room experiences, retailers exploring multilingual and personalized shopping assistance, as well as schools needing real-time personalized student support.
And something unexpected: visitors were genuinely surprised by our accessible pricing.
Europe: International Expansion
Multiple visits across Europe, meeting businesses facing similar challenges—labor constraints, multilingual support needs, scaling customer experience without sacrificing quality.
We also participated in a podcast recording with AI Mennesker in Copenhagen. We talked a lot about Perxona—what we're building, 3D avatar vs video avatars, why AI avatars needs personality, the problems we're trying to solve for enterprises.
What We Learned
Start with Problems, Not Technology - The companies that succeed with AI aren't asking "what can we do with this?" They're saying "here's what's broken—can you help?"
Human Touch at Scale Is Possible - With genuine expression, personality, and emotional intelligence, AI avatars extend human warmth to thousands of simultaneous conversations.
Accessibility Opens Markets - No-code deployment, transparent pricing, and intuitive interfaces unlocked interest from businesses that thought AI was beyond their reach.
Speed Matters - From launch to global traction in four months. When you solve real problems, momentum compounds.
By The Numbers
4+ months since launch
3 countries with active presence
Multiple industries engaged: hospitality, retail, e-commerce, education, healthcare, government, entertainment
Hundreds of demos at expos
1 major award (Dream Pitch winner)
Countless partnerships forming
What's Next: 2026
As we close 2025, the momentum continues.
We'll be expanding our presence and there will be more official partnership announcements in Japan, Taiwan, Europe, and beyond. Continuously refining Behavior AI based on real-world usage. Exploring new creative IP partnerships. Expanding into more industries—theme parks, healthcare, education, smart cities.
Thank You
To our first customers who took a chance on something new.
To everyone who stopped by our booth and helped us understand their challenges.
To our team who traveled across continents and never stopped pushing for better.
To the expo organizers who gave us platforms to share what we're building.
And to everyone following along—thank you for being part of this journey.
The Real Takeaway
2025 taught us that the future of AI isn't about removing humans from the equation. It's about extending human warmth, personality, and connection at scale.
It's about making technology feel less like technology.
It's about solving real problems for real businesses with real people.
And we're just getting started.
Here's to 2026.
